There are several ways to add books, the most common is pressing Add Book on the home screen. This will activate the camera or display a dialog box for manually entering ISBNs.
Long press "Add Book", two options appear. Selecting "Enter ISBN" will prompt for manual entry while "Create Book" will display a form that enables adding items manually. This was added to allow cataloging books that were not issued an ISBN. Long pressing My Books or Wish-list will display a menu to add items to that particular collection.
Books can also be added directly to a shelf or collection by selecting "Add Book" from the options menu while viewing that particular collection or shelf.
Long pressing a book and selecting "Edit" will open a form that will allow editing book information. ISBN will not be editable.
Long press a book and select "Delete". You will be prompted to be sure the item is to be deleted, this is irreversible.
Once shelves has been enabled selecting My Books from the home screen will display a menu asking whether you would like to "Go To..." your "Library" or "Shelves". Select "Shelves", press menu and select "Add Shelf".
Navigate to your shelves, long press a shelf and select "Edit".
If the option "Add to Shelf" is not available from the menu when you long press a book, you'll need to enable shelves or add a shelf. To add a single item to a shelf, long press a book and select "Add to Shelf". Select from the available shelves to add.
Multiple books can be added to a shelf. From the home screen, navigate to your shelves or press menu from your library and select "Shelves". Long press a shelf and select "Add to Shelf", a dialog will appear containing your collection. Check the box next to the book you would like to add to that particular shelf. Books already on that shelf will not be displayed.
